    New Mum gifts

    My sister in law is going to have her first child soon and I want to buy her a few little presents. What was your best new Mama gift? Not including wine...

    My mum got me "it's a boy" charms for my bracelet.
    My grandparents did me like an essentials box with nappies, wet wipes, cotton balls, big tub of sudecrem etc that was very useful!

    And my auntie bought me a soap and glory gift set which was very much appreciated for some me bath time haha

    Bath stuff!

    You could put a mini hamper together:

    * Snacks for when she's feeding (nuts, crisps, biscuits etc)
    * Hot choc / coffee sachets
    * Bath goodies
    * Lip gloss
    * Magazine

    I agree with the bath stuff or a pamper set. I had a few little gift sets with bubble bath and moisturisers in and I really appreciated that. It was nice to something for me to enjoy and relax a bit.
    I brought my friend some bath bombs from lush as part of her present because I know she loved them.

    Thank you!

    She's in between homes, so will be living with her Mum, and hoped won't have to do much apart from concentrate on the baby.

    When I had my emcs, my Dad bought me the best presents ever - no-one told him what to get, he chose it all himself. It still makes me a bit weepy that he got it SO right! He bought me:

    Chocolate brownies (I'd had GD and hadn't eaten for 3 days in hospital, I devoured these!)
    Moisturiser and cleansing wipes.
    Trashy magazines.

    These few things made me feel human again.
