Glad its all sorted. Sorry that you have had to go through that but hopefully everything will be swiftly back to normal. Did they give you antibiotics too? I had to have some.

Week before last I was on amoxicillin and this week I'm on Metronidazole and Keflex together although having reaction to them. Been advised to stick with feeling rough as apparently best antibiotics to treat type of infection.
Thanks for the support

Yes, I was on a long course of Metronidazole. 2 months after that I got my BFP and was told it was the best antibiotic for helping with an infection in my uterus.

That is fantastic news, congratulations.
This has given me time for me to put my sensible head on and we have decided to get through 2 full periods before trying again as apposed to jumping back on it. It was a hard decision to opt for surgery again as was worried about more scar tissue but hopefully all will be well.
I really do appreciate chatting to someone who has been through something similar

Good luck. I'm sure its just a matter of time for your body to heal properly. We carried on TTC straight after being given the all clear (but did have one naughty mishap before). At first I was disheartened I didn't fall pregnant but then early February, unbeknown to me I was already pregnant.
I didn't think we had caught OV at all because we only DTD once around 12th January. CD1 was the 2nd. I didn't even have any IC because we were thinking about holding off, then I went away to my nans funeral for and my best friends for a few days, so discounted that month. I couldn't believe it when I got my BFP. It happened totally out of the blue and probably because we relaxed a little.
I'm sure its just waiting to happen for you around the next corner. Hold in there.
