NEED HELP buying a suitable pram?

Today i went to buy a pram with baby Olivia's nana and grandad, what i hoped would be a fun afternoon was replaced with unanswered questions and no pram
I was intially stuck on 3 prams mothercare orb, mamas & papas zoom and graco evo all 3 convert from pram to pushchair.
However know my babys come early i need to find a pram that will be suitable!
Does anyone know of any pram brands that a made for premature babies or if i can buy a regular pram,

    Thank you

I don't think any pushchair manufacturers make them specifically for prem babies, she will be fine in the same pushchair as a term baby.

I had dd at 33 weeks and we originally had a graco travel system bought for her. However she was so tiny she didnt look right in the seat, the harness was was way too big for her.And i dont like them in carseats too long. So we bought an oyster with the carrycot. Although i dont recommend the oyster (we had endless problems with it) the carrycot was fab so anything with a carrycot would be fine imo x

With our pram lying flat we created a 'nest' of blankets around LO to make her less like a lonely little pea rolling around!

But erm, generally I was that scared I only left the house once a week! Not the ideal solution lol

    Good luck

we bought a silvercross 3d which he looks so tiny in. we had it on the pushchair setting so he wasnt totally flat as he didnt tolerate it. However we also got a stretchy wrap so he has only used the pram twice. he much prefers to be close and upright and its much less faff than a pram.

I had a MotherCare travel system for ds2 and he was fine in that however if it had happend again I would have gone for one with a pram and a better car seat like maxi-cosi pebble with the head nest x

For the MotherCare car-seat I brought a head support which was fine x

Have you thought about a baby carrier / sling while your baby is tiny? The comfort of being close to your chest will be good for both of you, and she's so small that you won't notice the weight. I recommend the Close Caboo:

It's completely comfortable, easy to use and supportive for tiny babies. I found when my girls were tiny I was just not comfortable having them in a pushchair / pram. There are lots of benefits to carrying your baby, too:

You can buy the kaboo from shops like mothercare and kiddicare, I believe. Or look about online Good luck

We had the easy walker (although the twin version) and they were fine with the head supports, but yes they did look tiny!!

Like Tasha, we had the Close carriers and they were lovely, but just not used all that much as I couldn't do that alone.

the silvercross freeway is a carry cot with a newborn liner that fit Emma snug at 5lb it is a big pram but we kept it as its great for country walks but did buy the urbo for city living.

I would second the use of slings, it's very good for a prem baby to be close to your skin.

As for prams, well my last baby was 4lbs when she was born and we mainly used a moby stretchy wrap sling but i had a silver cross freeway and used an insert that came with the bouncy chair just to keep her in a good position and so she didn't feel like she was in such a wide open space.
    Another on the way.......................................
