***FORUM UPGRADE - Articles needed please!***

Well the time is finally coming that we can upgrade the forum with some snazzy software (Vbulletin for those who care).

    For example

Blogs / Articles written by YOU
Change the colour of the forum to suit your tastes
    Quick reply
Auto-refreshing buddylist with ICQ-style alerts when Friends come online
Editable Calendar with event reminders for subscribed events

    and loads more

I have just purchased the software (ouch, please try to donate if you can )

Anyway, Doink is sorting it all out but we're looking towards the end of July before it will be available for you to use, we have to do a lot of set up and testing and then the database will be moved across (so all posts etc will be on there)

Anyway, when it goes up we'll need 2 things

ARTICLES! - could be buggy reviews, breastfeeding advice, TTC information, weaning help etc.
Obviously these should all be factual and well written.
I was thinking maybe they could be a group effort, like a post made in the feeding section which could be replied to and the OPer then edits the useful/factual information into the first post.

If you think you may like to make that first post please post in the thread. It will need to be a regular member with good spelling and grammar please!!

    LOGOS

As users will be able to change the colour of their control panel it will be good if there are a few colour logos to choose from.
I'm thinking blue, green, pink, purple, red

The logos will need to be 260 x 112 pixels

If you think you'd like to have a go at making one, then feel free to post your efforts in this thread. HOWEVER, we will not be able to use everyone's so please.... if you think you may be offended if yours isn't chosen, then perhaps its best if you don't enter cos I don't want to upset anyone

    DD2 - 1 month

Take your FOLIC ACID - preferably before conception. Your babies brain develops before 12dpo

Sounds great. I'm not sure if I have enough expertise in any area to write a blog but I'm willing to help where I can

    Sounds great
Not sure I could write the main article but would love to contribute to any breast feeding/cloth nappy/baby led weaning/baby wearing and home birth threads

Pp - I could maybe write reviews of the cloth happiest I've tried? Good excuse to try more
