    The things they say! Lol

Was just going to post something funny Hayden just said and remembered the old funny things they say thread so thought i'd start a new one so we can all share.

Hayden just said to me "mummy the problem is, i want something to eat again" "Hmm i know maybe playdoh will make me feel better" Made me chuckle.. where do they get this stuff from?

Ellie scratched her Daddies back with a book on Saturday morning while I Was in the shower and he was still in bed. I asked him about the scratch and he told me Ellie did it. She then proceeded to tell us that "the ladies did it, 2 of them, while Daddy was shopping without any clothes on!". We were in absolute stitches about this threesome my hubby was involved in.

The other day I was trying to get Ellie to come out with me to town so that I could vote, but she didn't want to go. So she told me "Mummy, I'll stay here, you'll be back soon." As hubby hadn't got home from work there was no way I was going to do that, but she sounded so grown up saying it.

    Fab thread!

    Austin's latest was yesterday -

Austin (standing in the doorway of the kitchen holding his bag: Bye mummy, I'm going to work
Me: okay, bye darling, have a good day
Austin: Daddy and Fraser are going to work too
Me: Oh, well what will mummy do?
Austin: You stay here and tidy the house!

my son is such a chauvinist

Love it! Just after Fraser was born, Austin asked whether Daddy was going to feed the baby with his boobies too

Ellie asked an overweight lady that in the changing rooms at the swimming pool the other day. I was so embarressed. Thankfully she was a mum as well (had 4 children) so didn't take offence.

I just remembered a story from when I was pregnant. My SIL is a nanny and she took my scan pic in to show the kids she works with. The youngest is 3. He asked where the baby was & she said it was in my tummy. He got really upset and asked 'why did she eat the baby?' to which she explained that it was ok, I didn't eat it, thats how babies are made. So at dinner time he told his mum 'Paul's sister has a baby in her tummy. But its ok mum, she didn't eat it'

    Love this thread!

Libby had a great one the other week, we were walking round Sainsbury's doing a little shop and she announces in a very loud voice "I know mummy, I need wine!" A young couple who happened to passing us looked at me & just chuckled as Libby said "I like pink wine"
