Today was our second midwife appointment. My last one was at twelve weeks and I'm now 21 weeks. I wouldn't even have this one if I hadn't chased them up on the phone (three times). Anyway, we finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat which was amazing! It was really strong but she kept moving away from the probe! LOL! I just got back from our 20 week scan. It went fine. Steve was working but as he works in the hospital it was easy for him to come and join me. The nurse put the gel on my belly and pushed with the probe. Straight away the image came up on the screen and Steve and I were enthralled.
